The Indigo blue sack was made over a century ago for a hose hold of the Mitsui Family. It is indicated by the Yotsume family crest, which is comprised of the four bold squares forming a diamond shape.

The deep blue color has retained well over a century. The royal blue color of the drawstring stands out elegantly. Upon closer inspection, you will find a small patch on one side of the sack, used to repair a hole. It adds a character to the work.
After several decades, the excellent condition of the piece and the beautiful treatment of its repairs show the previous owner's loving care.
